Clipart & Tasty Goodness!

It has been a couple of weeks since my last blog! I have been busy with a few projects around my place. My sister came up to visit a couple of weeks back and we toured all around the interior of B.C. The worst lasagna that i EVER ate was at this store called 'The Village Cheese Company' in Armstrong, B.C. . I had been looking forward to trying this lasagna for a couple of years. It was awful and very disappointing.. However earlier that day on our travels, we had ended up at Mission Hills Winery in Westbank. It was beautiful.

I also just finished the Intermediate Cake Decorating Course that was offered by my city. Before i took these courses i didn't know what a 'coupler' was or how to fill a decorating bag! My sister's birthday was on the 16th so i made & decorated some cupcakes. She likes Winnie the Poo so i went with that theme. I had made a dozen giant cupcakes but, i ended up eating all except those four!

Clipart is great for giving you ideas as to what to put in your cupcakes or cakes. In my cake decorating class, the images that were use were all large scale clipart.

Mother's Day is this Sunday so get your projects started if you havent already!

You can use the clipart to make your own customized cards or garden markers and even a cute book of special 'coupons' that your mom can use throughout the year! When I was young I created a coupon book for my mom. It had coupons in it for me to 'clean my room' and 'help with dishes'. It is an inexpensive gift that is useful and shows your mom that you love her :)

Back from Holidays!

I have just got back from visiting my parents in Alberta! It is a beautiful drive from British Columbia to Alberta this time of year! I dislike driving in the winter that route so I make sure it is nice when i do eventually go visit! For all of you going camping this summer, check out our camping clipart. Things are Looking Sunny!

We have had a few nice days here every since that snow! I have been busy drawing lots and lots of vegetable cliparts. I have broken down the big 'vegetables' category into many subcategories and have added quite a few more veggies :) Have a look through the Vegetable Cliparts.. we have from Artichokes to Tomatoes in their own categories waiting to go into your projects! These cliparts are useful for making markers in your garden. In the past ( when i actually had a garden) had bought plastic holders for my garden and placed laminated clipart pictures inside them. For my tomatoes, I printed out a tomato clipart, laminated it and cut it to fit the holder. It looked really cute and tidy in my garden when i had a a whole bunch of different ones set up for different vegetables!

SNOW??!!

The weather has been a strange one! When i looked out the window this morning, i was astonished to see SNOW. I was just thinking yesterday how lucky to have no snow!

I hope everyone is having a good Easter weekend! I am spending mine with my sweet cats.
I am in cake decorating class so i have been enjoying my Easter cake that i baked and decorated. Yum!

Magical Snow Bunnies!

The other day my sister who lives in Edmonton was telling me about a cute surprise outside of her place! As she was leaving her home, a bunny came flopping out from a big snow pile in her parking lot! She said it looked like he stayed in there for the winter, like a little winter cave :) so cute!
